Na jarenlang afwisseling en uitdaging gezocht te hebben in in zeer diverse functies richt ik mij met
Write Minds als zelfstandige op copywriting en interim communicatie management.
Als half Amerikaans – half Nederlandse, ben ik volledig tweetalig en ken ik de fijne nuances van
beide talen. Mijn diensten als tekstschrijver zijn uniek omdat ik niet alleen in twee talen kan
werken maar dit ook combineer met mijn kennis over (online) marketing.
Ik heb veel ervaring in technische industrieën, met name op het gebied van IT, web- en
softwareontwikkeling, klimaatbeheersing, productinnovatie en technologie t.b.v de
entertainmentindustrie (o.a. takels, lieren, audio & akoestiek).
Ik denk conceptueel en strategisch mee, en zorg graag voor een gedegen uitvoering van uw
communicatieproject of campagne.
Meetbaarheid van succes vind ik belangrijk. Daarom stel ik graag heldere doelstellingen en deadlines
en heb ik een sterke interesse in direct- en online marketing.

My name is Melanie van Kooten-Morton. Being half American and half Dutch, I am completely bilingual
in both languages. Although I have traveled to the US on many occasions, I was born in The
Netherlands and have lived here all my life.
I work as an independent copywriter and interim communications manager under the name Write Minds.
Although I have managed numerous campaigns and projects and have written for a wide variety of
industries, my experience has been primarily in technical industries such as: IT, web and software
development, product innovation, climate control and the entertainment industry (rigging, hoisting,
audio & acoustics technology etc.)
I work either from home or on location (Randstad area, Utrecht - Amsterdam - The Hague).
Colleagues would characterize me as open, friendly, proactive and professional. I am a
self-starting, multi-tasker to the bone, as well as an excellent team player. Tight deadlines do not
faze me as I have accumulated extensive experience in the co-ordination of numerous marketing and
communication projects(conceptually, technically, and logistically).
