Currently one of our clients is looking to expand by hiring an experienced and motivated
Application Manager who is responsible for support and maintenance on, and further
development of, several trading systems.
Job description:
The position of Application Manager contains the following tasks:
- Provide second cq. third line support and maintenance on cross border applications,
update incident/problem status using standard service management tools
- Contribute to projects by implementing new systems in order to enable these projects to
meet the project objectives and maintainability
- Carry out system testing activities and provide support to user acceptance and
production acceptance testing activities
- Prepare and execute application changes according to change management procedures
- Adhere to the standard way of working (policies) within the department and within the
banking environment (ITIL and CMMI)
- Propose application and/or process improvements (as part of maintenance) on recurring
incidents

- Medium size team with enthusiastic professionals (support analysts, business analysts,
test analysts, developer)

- State of the art systems and architecture
Your profile:
- Experience in technical environments
- Experience with functional and technical application management (ITIL , CMMI)
- Experience with state of the art IT technology (hardware, software, development tools,
database management systems, monitoring tools)
- Experience with on of the following: Oracle, PL/SQL, Python, Linux (UNIX) is a
preference
- Experience with multi-asset Direct Market Access and Exchange connectivity, Trading
systems, Market Making, Front-to Back office processing and FIX (Financial Information
ExChange) is a preference
- Flexible, result driven, process aware, motivated and customer focused
- Dutch speaking
- Pro-active attitude, ability to balance multiple tasks and self critical
