The Product Manager Oncology supports the Oncology Department and reports to the Business
Unit Director Oncology. The Oncology Department consists of a Business Unit Director, 3
Key Account Managers (1 vacancy), a Medical Liaison Officer, a Product Manager (1 vacancy)
and an Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
Oversees the development of marketing and promotional programs to stimulate demand for
this medicin and ensures the execution of these programs. Analyses market trends and
interprets market research data: recommends pricing and product positioning. The Product
Manager Acts as an interface between product development and the field sales force by
recommending modifications of assigned range of product/services.

•Develops and advises on strategic marketing policies and programs for the Business Unit
Oncology.
•Develops new approaches to promote the products including the development of new
markets. The market requires considerable commercial and technical knowledge.
•Develops operational marketing plans outlining key activities and marketing programs.
•Implements agreed-upon strategies within agreed budget
•Manages communication campaigns in co-operation with internal and external
organizations.
•Sets up and manages effective communication channels within the organization that
ensures horizontal and vertical alignment of the sales force and other key people in the
achievement of marketing product objectives.
•Initiates the development of marketing materials, plans promotional campaigns and
provides support to Business Unit Director in order to facilitate the sales force to
monitor trends and improve market intelligence.
•Delivers input for high quality local Oncology marketing and (integrated) business
plans, as judged by the Business Unit Director.
•Developing marketing tools, reviewing journal advertisement programs, sample formats,
visual aids and literature required for detailing
•Shares opinions and discusses improvements within the Business Unit to achieve peak
performance of the entire team
•Frequent communication cascades within the Business Unit to improve team spirit and
morale.

•Essential experience: product manager in a Pharmaceutical Marketing is a must!and a
thourough understanding of the Pharmaceutical Market.
