Project manager to onboard 4 applications from their current support model into the Global Functions xxx support organization. In 2008 GF IT completed the implementation of a new organizational model and new ways of working. As part of the transformation, the responsibility for the support and maintenance of applications has been allocated to the GF IT xxxx
In 2008 and 2009 a set of applications was being transitioned from the EP function to a standard EP IT support model utilizing the EP IT Development and Support Organization (DSO). The 4 applications in scope are currently supported.
The current DSO HSSE support team is operational and providing technical support, 24/7 operations monitoring and management capability that covers infrastructure support (server configuration, backup, restoration, etc), migration, development, testing and deployment. The support team utilizes the Customer standard tools and adheres to best practices which is ITIL compliant. It’s streamlined, consolidating the support model to a single point of contact, where 1st Level Support handles incident logging and troubleshooting, whereas 2nd Level Support for escalation, all within the same organization. Additionally, the team provides better coverage hours, response/resolution time and superior quality of service.
In January of 2010 as a result of the Group 2009 Transformation Programme, the application responsibility for these applications was moved from EP IT to GF IT. Initially these applications used the "lift and shift" model where the accountability and budgets were moved while support remained with the DSO.
In keeping with the GF IT support standards this project is to move those applications from the current DSO support model to GF IT xxxxx support.
The continuity of the IT maintenance & support service to the business will be key throughout this DSO transition to xxxx project.
• Onboarding 4 applications from their current support model into the Global Functions BAM support organization;
• This project will move application support to the xxx including the changing of contracts, budgets, etc.
• Knowledge of BAM support model and processes;
• Experience with transitioning applications to the BAM organization;
• BAM Onboarding experience;
• PDF (The Customer project delivery framework) knowledge / experience;
• PM certification (kindly indicate which).
• Motivation geared towards assignment is compulsory;
• Both motivation and CV need to be in English.
