For one of our direct financial clients, a merchant bank in Brussels,
we are looking for a candidate with the following experience.

Role : Project Management Officer (medior)
Start : Asap (+/- 20 Sept.)
Duration : at least 10 months +
(estimated on 1 year)
Hours weekly : 40
Worklocation : Brussels


Language requirement:
Fluent English (speaking and writing!)
Basic knowledge of French is a big plus.


Project description :

In our clients Business IT Portfolio Team, we need a person to put the process
in "Run the Bank"’and to align all the data we collected and managed :
- Run of process supporting the portfolio management.
- Contact with all involved team and project leaders.
- Production of reporting and presentation.
- To reinforce the Business IT, the PMO due to the increase the activities
of our client.
- To consolidate all the figures from different sources into our Portfolio
Dashboard.
- To identify the discrepancies and to improve the quality of data"s.
- To follow the data’s introduced in Clarity and to take corrective actions.
- To follow & support the project leaders.


Principal assignments and experience :

- Taking on one or more projects once the requirements have been confirmed,
being able to position it not just within his/her own Division but also
within the Company.
- Representing the interests of all stakeholder Divisions.
- Bringing the project or projects to satisfactory
completion while observing rules for conducting
- At least 6 years of working experience.
- At least 2-3 years of project management experience in a functional
and technical environment similar to that of this project.
- Is able to seek out information relevant to the project(s) from available
projects defined between the Project Owner and Project Management.
- Complying with and making others comply with quality, cost and
lead time terms and conditions set out in the project contract drawn up
between the Project Owner and Project Management.
- Taking responsibility for the project, monitoring it and bringing it
to satisfactory completion for a mediumscale project or a subsystem of
a large-scale project. (around 4-8 people)

- Banking experience is a big plus.

Principal responsibilities:
- Identifying the various Project Ownership stakeholders, conducting
and planning their work.
- Organising and running project teams within the framework of rules
laid down between the Project Owner and Project Management.
- Ensuring allocated budgets are adhered to.
- Detailing and formalising functional requirements.
- Writing or having others write functional instructions
and validate them.
- Supervising and -validate functional acceptance based on acceptance
criteria which he/she will have defined.
- Taking part in defining trialling conditions, supervising this
stage andvalidating it.
- Supplying the Project Manager with information to enable him/her
subsequently to draw up a financial assessment documentation
(in house and outside) and from qualified staff.
- Is able to manage a project, keeping within deadlines and costs while
achieving the quality objectives laid down.
- Is familiar with the rules governing relationships between Project Owners
and Project Management.
- Is familiar with the principles of Project Ownership in managing a
project and is
capable of applying them and having them complied with.
- Is familiar with budgetary rules in respect of project management.
- Is able to use office automation tools to present a project
and ensure it is dealt with.
- Is able to identify the users and decisionmakers
involved in a project.
- Is able to prepare and conduct working meetings with a view to effectiveness

- Analyst profile, good communication skills.
