ALcontrol Laboratories is one of the largest independent European Laboratory organizations
with several offices all over Europe.
The Environmental Division in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, provides the necessary support
and services for the Dutch market. Environmental analyses are mainly carried out by the
environmental laboratory in Rotterdam, however can also be executed by one of the other
two European ALcontrol laboratories in the UK and Sweden. Due to the pan-European
organization structure, ALcontrol Laboratories delivers a custom-made analyses and
logistic solutions in order to support its European customers in the most optimal way. In

test data. Our customer internet application is a powerful tool that will improve the
productivity and performance in the field or in the office.
Role
A 12 month contract to lead the customer internet application development plan to:
- Coordinate resources across the customer internet application group
development team
- Agree specification and user requirements with key business stream
leaders
- Use project management skills and techniques to manage the activities
and communicate progress
- Organise and professionalise the release management of the customer
internet application software to enable it to be used in a more user
friendly way
- In coordination with other develop marketing and product description
documentation for the customer internet application system
- Liaise with Sweden, UK and Netherlands user representatives to assist in
the implementation and rollout of the software
- Communicate with key stakeholders and the customer internet application
steering committee
Skills/experience
- Good people management skills
- Knowledge and direct experience of IT software development management
- Knowledge of customer web portals a distinct advantage
- Some specific system relevant technical knowledge an advantage
- Familiarity of managing over distance and in an international context
- Mature, intelligent approach to problem solving

Rotterdam, with travel to Linkoping, Sweden and Chester, UK
Languages
Fluent in English, Dutch an advantage.
