Voor onze opdrachtgever in de bancaire sector zijn wij op zoek naar een Application
Designer.
Job description & deliverables
The project is to extend an existing Data warehouse with generic functionality as required
by the business and/or Functional Maintenance. Therefore the resource needs technical
skills beyond ETL programming. Requirements are in the area of security, monitoring, data
quality, etc. The required person is an experienced technical data warehouse specialist
with overview about the data warehouse.
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour
In depth knowledge of datawarehouse, General Datawarehouse knowledge to implement
security, dataquality, etc.
Technical Skills / Hard skills
Skilled person required, as the used techniques and the required output the use of scripts
and ETL. In depth knowledge of Datawarehousing, Informatica/powercentre and
Metadatamanager, BDWM, Teradata, DB2.
Knowledge and experience with Datawarehouse Security implementations, large back ups an
all round datawarehouse specialist. With a focus on general
Behavioural characteristics / Soft skills
Works closely together with TCS therefore English required. Teamplayer, result driven.
Easy communicator between functional Maintenance, TCS. Makes difficult issues easy to
understand for third parties (non IT).
Must be able to read and write in both Dutch and English.
