Voor opdrachtgever in financiële sector zetten wij graag de volgende aanvraag uit:

Rate (all-inclusive):55 euro/uur
Het gaat om het uitvoeren van testen binnen een data warehouse omgeving. Dus het testen
van gegevensverwerking binnen dat data warehouse waarin nieuwe bronbestanden worden
aangeleverd, nieuwe tabellen o.b.v. requirements worden opgezet in een data staging layer,
ene data layer en een information layer. Informatieverwerking en bijbehorende logica
vinden verder plaats middels ETL (PowerCenter) functionaliteit. Deze data dient weer als
bron voor het reporting tool Vermilion Reporting Suit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The test analyst is required primarily for System Test (ST) and Functional Acceptance Test
(FAT) activities and for the preparation activities leading up to both. Primary tasks are:
• Preparation and maintenance of test cases in HP Quality Center 9.2.
• Preparation of test data (.csv) to facilitate test execution and coverage of test
scenarios.
• Verification of test results using a variety of methods including database queries
(SQL) and spreadsheet analysis to compare test data with production data.
• Coordinate developers performing unit and system tests (as test resource).
• To raise defects in HP Quality center where test results deviate from expected
outcomes
• Prioritisation of defects and test cases in accordance with the release schedule.
Must Have:
• Thorough knowledge of structured test method TMAP (next) and processes (i.e. the "V"
test model)
• Ability to interrogate databases using (complex) SQL.
• Ability to derive and structure test cases appropriately from a variety of sources
including Powercenter Mapping specifications.
• 2+ years experience of functional testing within financial organizations.
• Experience with Data warehousing.
• Working knowledge of HP Quality Centre including usage of Test Plan, Test Lab, and
Defects modules.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Capital markets.
• Experience with Informatica Powercenter.
• Working knowledge of Regular expressions and advanced text editors (e.d. Ultraedit,
Pspad).
Personal Attributes
• Ability to work well and integrate within a small team, reporting to the Project
manager.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to tight deadlines using own initiative to
follow through and ensure completion of tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate at a technical level with developers and also to clearly convey
technical issues/concepts to business analists.
• Proven record of working on complex projects throughout entire test phase resulting in
successful delivery into production.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
