SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER BRATISLAVA SLOVAKIA
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to start a new project? eQuaest is looking for an experienced and Senior Finance Manager for the Cash Collection Project of one of their clients in Bratislava. The ideal candidate need must have the following experiences and skills:
Essential:
- excellent knowledge of account receivables;
- excellent knowledge of cash collection;
- experienced in working in an international Business environment;
- experienced in setting up shared service centres;
- self-starter mentality;
- flexible attitude;
- capable to achieve cash targets;
- capable to manage, train and coach team of collectors;
- fluent in at least German and English, Spanish is an extra advantage;
- must be an European residence
Job Description:
- overview collections geographical region and/or business unit within a SSC;
- improvement cash flow, drive, coordinate, escalate collection activities;
- drive performance in accordance with SLA;
- provide guidance to Collections Department;
- support employee career development;
- responsible for Collections department, up to 25 FTE’s, including Supervisors;
- accountable for maintaining continuous follow-up (customers and branch);
- review reports and queues to ensure correctly followed collection strategies;
- manage account reconciliation regarding overpayments and double payments;
- manage escalation disputed and/or collectible invoices;
- reviewing of escalated collection issues, develop best practice;
- build relationships with collection agencies, monitor cost and performance;
- develop and provide management and performance reports (KPI’s, bad debt, etc.);
- develop dispute escalation policy;
- manage supporting cash allocation team in resolving issues;
- ensure compliancy with accounting policy, procedures and processes;
- timely reporting of financial information;
- monitor performance on KPI’s and SLA’s;
- translate and implement global directives into region;
- responsible for managing day to day operations of all collections personnel. Ensure hiring of new staff, review performance;
- plan workforce needs and support staff career development
Start: February 1st 2012
Location: Bratislava Slovakia
Duration: 3 - 6 months, based on a rolling contract
