Product Owner Identity & Access Management (IAM)

The Application Services department supplies information systems that enable Company's primary processes. Within this department, the Information Services team provides generic facilities such as integration, data warehousing, definition management and reporting facilities. There is a temporary team working on setting up Identity and Access management. By the end of this year, the team expects to have fully completed two projects, Roll Based Access (RBAC) and Privileged Account Management (PAM), and Identity Access Management must be integrated into the management organization.
Due to the departure of the current Product Owner, we are looking for a successor who can steer this final phase in the right direction.
Finally, the ownership of the IAM process will eventually have to be invested in the organization. The Product Owner we are looking for has the right diplomatic skills to prepare the future process owner for this.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who builds bridges on all levels.
As a Product Owner of IAM, you ensure that the two projects mentioned, RBAC and PAM, are successfully implemented. To this end, you seek constructive cooperation with your stakeholders. You will regularly have work for other teams: you ensure good coordination with those teams to get this work done.
For the integration into the management organization, you work closely with the receiving managers and their teams, and you ensure that the members in your team are well prepared for that transition.
Positioning the ultimate process owner requires a highly developed diplomatic sense.
And finally, Identity and Access Management is an important topic for the entire organization. You are an enthusiastic and positive ambassador and help us to keep this interest in mind.
Within Company, depending on the need, Agile or classic working methods are chosen, including within this team. As a Product Owner, you are decisive in choosing the right path to the outlined end goal.

You have experience as a Product Owner, know how to maintain a backlog and develop Userstories. In any case, this is necessary for the cooperation with the other teams. However, you are pragmatic in choosing
the working method for your team.

Description department/team

You work for the IT/IV Directorate and are hired by the Application Services, Information Services team.

Requirements:

1. HBO working and thinking level;

2. At least 3 years of experience with Identity projects and access management

3. At least 5 years of experience in leading projects and/or as a Product Owner

4. The candidate must have the following competences

1. Goal-oriented: You organize, coordinate, and convince in a pleasant way to achieve your goals. You know how to mobilize colleagues in the right way to achieve your goal.

2. Planning: organizational skills, being able to work carefully, systematically and result-oriented.

3. Diplomatic: You are capable of different levels within the organization to build effective relationships

These competencies are tested in an interview.

Nice to have:

1. Experience as a project leader or product owner with the subject of Identity and Access Management

2. Experience as a project leader or product owner with Privileged Account Management as subject

3. Experience as a project leader or product owner with Roll Based Access as the subject

4. Experience with Agile/Scrum way of working

5. Experience with IV/ICT within the (semi) government
