Senior NIS2 Consultant

For a multinational project, managed from the HQ in Utrecht, we are looking for a Senior NIS2 Consultant.
The consultant will be tasked with overseeing and managing the global NIS2 policies and framework implementation for local offices around the world. You would lead independently and will engage with local application and risk owners as well as local regulators.

Your responsibilities will include

• Overseeing that the central NIS2 Policies and Frameworks are aligned with local offices

• Coordinating requirements from local offices related to the NIS2 and ensuring the HQ is aware of them

• Lead the implementation of NIS2 at local offices

This role is an extension of the central CISO team and will require you to advise, explain and guide the implementation of NIS2 in local offices. You will translate the global NIS2 requirements into local actions taking the local context into account. Also, the role will integrate the local entities into the global Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance processes. The goal is to reach as many standardizations as possible and alignment of measures possible between all offices.

The ideal candidate should have

• Deep understanding of Cyber Security from a Technical and Procedural point of view, ideally in the light of NIS2.

• You have a strong consulting mindset

• You have experience in working in multinational corporations

• Ability to deal with corporate v.s. local power dynamics

• Experience in dealing with regulators

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
