About the assignment
As Interim Group Controller, you will act as a senior, trusted advisor and backfill to the Group Controllership function during a critical transformation and separation programme. You bring calm, experience and sound judgement to ensure continuity, quality and robust decision-making in a complex, PE-backed carve-out environment. You support business-as-usual controllership activities while advising on the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose Group Controllership Operating Model.

Job description
Support and backfill Group Controllership business-as-usual activities during the carve-out and separation phase.
Act as a senior sparring partner and advisor to Group Finance leadership on reporting, consolidation and controls.
Provide expert judgement on IFRS, consolidation topics and audit-related matters.
Support the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose Group Controllership Operating Model.
Oversee global financial reporting, consolidation and audit processes together with internal teams and external providers.
Support the transition away from TSAs towards standalone processes and systems.
Ensure high standards of internal controls, governance and reporting discipline.
Support accurate integration of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) reporting where required.
Collaborate closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR and Operations as a senior finance advisor.
Job requirements
Extensive experience in PE-backed carve-outs, standalone transformations or CTFO-type roles.
Deep expertise in IFRS, group consolidation and audit processes.
Track record as a senior finance professional who advises, supports and enables.
Comfortable operating as a backfill and sparring partner in complex environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence through experience and credibility.
Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset.
Experience with TSA exits and finance systems implementation.
AI-savviness or openness to technology-driven process optimisation is a strong plus.
