Our Client
You will be working for a large, international organization operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The organization manages complex end-to-end processes across multiple countries and plays an important role in optimizing and standardizing operations at scale.
Hours per week: 38 | Location: Zwaagdijk
In this role, you act as the independent end-to-end guardian of product data quality and ensure data is managed according to governance standards, policies and best practices.
You work closely with both business and IT stakeholders and play a key role in improving, controlling and safeguarding data quality across complex process chains.
Your role
As a Process Expert / Product Data Controller, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining controls that increase overall product data quality. Your responsibilities include:
Defining and implementing data governance controls and mechanisms
Developing data quality matrices, KPIs and reporting
Identifying data quality issues and creating improvement plans
Setting up and maintaining data dictionaries, data standards and definitions
Monitoring data ownership and ensuring compliance with governance rules
Acting as a subject matter expert in projects and process chains
Aligning business and IT stakeholders on data requirements
Ensuring product data complies with regulatory and internal requirements
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Science, Data Management or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within Data Management and/or Data Governance
Proven experience with Master Data Management
Experience with ERP and PIM systems (e.g. STEP, Informatica or similar)
Experience working in an international environment, preferably retail
Experience with Big Data processes
Fluent in English and good command of Dutch
Available for 38 hours per week
Willing to work on-site at least 3 days per week
