Product Owner (Mobile App)


We are looking for an experienced Product Owner or Product Specialist to support a Senior Product Owner within a mobile app product environment. You will take ownership of daily squad rituals and work closely with the development team to ensure smooth delivery and clear prioritisation.

You will act as Product Owner for one or more development teams, supporting the successful delivery of features and ensuring outcomes meet business objectives and customer needs. This role sits within a complex, large-scale digital organisation where collaboration, clarity, and outcome-driven thinking are essential.


The role

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Senior Product Owner with day-to-day product ownership activities

  • Own and facilitate squad rituals including refinement, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint management

  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of assigned features

  • Ensure product outcomes align with objectives and deliver real value to customers

  • Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape while keeping teams focused and aligned

Key experience and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Specialist in an agile environment

  • Proven experience working on mobile app product development

  • Strong background leading or supporting agile teams using best-practice product delivery methods

  • Highly user-focused, acting as a consistent advocate for customer needs

  • Pragmatic and delivery-focused, able to balance competing priorities in a large organisation

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-changing environments

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Confident communicator, able to clearly explain decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders and teams

  • Experience working in international environments and speak fluent English

Details:

Location: Randstad, Hybrid
Contract length: 6 months initially (view to extend)
Contract type: Interim payroll contract (No ZZP)

Rate: 70-80 per hour
