Senior AI Business Consultant

A global organisation is launching an enterprise AI adoption programme to scale AI usage from isolated initiatives to an organisation-wide capability across tens of thousands of employees in multiple international markets.

The programme will begin with a pilot across several European countries, building on existing AI infrastructure including an internal LLM assistant portal (100+ assistants) and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.

The organisation is seeking a Senior AI Business Consultant to lead this programme end-to-end — driving stakeholder engagement, facilitating implementation workshops, and establishing the governance frameworks required to scale AI adoption globally.

This role will act as the primary driver of the programme, working across assessment, implementation, and governance workstreams.

What you’ll be doing

AI Adoption & Assessment

• Conduct stakeholder interviews across multiple markets to assess AI maturity and identify adoption barriers

• Analyse existing AI assistants and use cases, categorising them by business value and maturity

• Develop an AI Opportunity Matrix identifying priority use cases across departments

Implementation & Enablement

• Facilitate AI use case prioritisation workshops with department leaders

• Lead the implementation of high-value AI use cases across multiple business functions

• Deliver hands-on enablement sessions to embed AI capabilities within teams

• Define and track adoption KPIs and business impact metrics

Governance & Scaling

• Develop AI Champion and Adoption Playbooks to enable local ownership within departments

• Create a country rollout framework to scale AI adoption across additional markets

• Establish governance structures, roles, and quality standards for AI usage

• Define the change management and communication approach required to drive adoption

Potential travel to several European markets may be required to support in-person workshops and implementation activities.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience leading enterprise digital transformation or AI adoption programmes

• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders

• Experience driving change management and organisational technology adoption

• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and enterprise LLM tools (Microsoft Copilot ecosystem or similar)

• Ability to design structured playbooks, frameworks and governance models

• Strong stakeholder management across executive leadership and operational teams

• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience conducting AI maturity assessments and adoption measurement frameworks

• Experience delivering multi-country transformation programmes

• English speaking with Additional European languages in: Dutch/Swedish/Portuguese
