Amsterdam | 3 months | possibility of extension
Rate: € 70-75 per hour

For an international organization active in the real estate sector, we are currently looking for an experienced Accountant on a freelance basis. This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months, with a possibility of extension.

In this role, you will work closely with the finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations, monthly closings, reporting activities, and process improvements within an international environment.

Responsibilities
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing activities
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and related accounting activities
• Assisting with financial reporting and consolidation processes
• Supporting cash flow reporting and analysis
• Preparing VAT and tax-related figures and supporting compliance processes
• Monitoring financial data quality and ensuring accurate reporting
• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and process optimizations
• Collaborating with both local and international stakeholders
• Ensuring financial procedures and controls remain up to date and efficient

Profile
• Several years of experience as (Senior) Accountant within an international environment
• Experience within commercial real estate or property-related environments is considered a strong pre
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 F&O is highly preferred
• Hands-on mentality with strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
