Freelance PHP Developer

Freelance Laravel Developer | Amsterdam | €82/hr | AI Chatbot Project

I've just picked up a really interesting, DBA friendly, 3-month contract with one of my clients.

They're looking for an experienced Laravel Developer to build the API layer that will power a new AI chatbot within their platform.

The work includes:
• Designing and building REST APIs in Laravel
• API documentation
• Integrating with Google Gemini
• Building the Laravel UI for the chatbot POC

Tech stack:

• PHP

• Laravel

• REST APIs

• MySQL / MariaDB

• AWS (ECS, SQS, RDS, Secrets Manager)

• Docker

Details

• Amsterdam (1-day per week)

• Mid-September start

• 3-month contract

• Up to 82EUR/hour

This isn't an "AI Engineer" role, but it is an opportunity for a PHP developer to add an AI string to their bow.

It's ideal for someone who's built production-grade APIs in Laravel and enjoys owning a well-defined technical project from design through delivery.
