Senior SAP Cloud Foundry Developer

Location: Utrecht / Hybrid
Contract: Initial contract until February 2027, with potential extension
Hours: 36 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Cloud Foundry Developer to join a specialist SAP Platform Team within a large, complex enterprise environment.

You will work on the continued development and modernisation of the SAP landscape, helping introduce new cloud technologies and build secure, scalable and robust applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The Role

As a Senior SAP Cloud Foundry Developer, you will work closely with Solution Architects and other technical specialists across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing a Cloud Foundry backend REST service using Node.js.
* Building and integrating database components within SAP BTP.
* Exposing backend services through SAP Integration Suite and Azure API Management (APIM).
* Developing and deploying applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
* Testing and working with new CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Foundry applications.
* Integrating SAP BTP services and components into enterprise applications.
* Supporting improvements to the wider SAP platform landscape.
* Working closely with architecture, integration and platform teams.
* Contributing to secure, scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

What We're Looking For

* Strong experience within SAP development in large and complex enterprise environments.
* Approximately 7+ years of relevant SAP development experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
* Cloud Foundry experience is essential.
* Previous experience developing at least one Cloud Foundry backend application.
* Strong backend development experience, ideally using Node.js.
* Experience with SAP CAP / Cloud Application Programming Model.
* Experience working with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
* Comfortable working within CI/CD and cloud-native development environments.

Experience with the following would be highly beneficial:

* SAP Integration Suite / CPI
* SAP Cloud ALM
* SAP Event Mesh
* SAP Cloud Identity Services
* Azure API Management
* Azure Pipelines
* Enterprise platform or SAP platform teams

Language

You do not need to be fully fluent in Dutch, however you should be able to understand Dutch to a good level.

The Environment

You will join an enterprise SAP Platform Team supporting systems and services across a large organisation.

This is a large-scale technical environment where you will work across multiple business areas and collaborate closely with experienced Solution Architects and technical teams.
