We are looking for an experienced Technical Solution Architect to support a large enterprise IT environment on a long-term assignment based in Utrecht.

The Architect will help shape and guide architectural solutions across the relevant business and technology landscape. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, stakeholders and other architects to translate business needs into clear, scalable and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

* Define and develop solution and/or enterprise architecture.
* Translate business requirements into practical technical designs.
* Ensure solutions align with existing architecture principles, standards and roadmaps.
* Advise stakeholders on architectural decisions and technology choices.
* Work closely with development, infrastructure, product and business teams.
* Identify dependencies, risks and architectural impacts across systems.
* Produce architecture documentation, designs and decision records.
* Support projects throughout design, implementation and delivery.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and fit for purpose.
* Contribute to the continued development of the wider IT architecture landscape.

Profile

* Strong experience working as an IT Architect, Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
* Experience working within complex enterprise IT environments.
* Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
* Ability to translate business challenges into technical architecture.
* Experience working across multiple applications, systems and integrations.
* Knowledge of architecture principles, governance and solution design.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience within large organisations or regulated environments would be beneficial.

Assignment

This is a 24-hour-per-week assignment initially running for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Utrecht.
