We as Business Integration and Intelligence team think that we can make the difference in the making Equens even more successful. Since our market is changing rapidly, we as a team we are in the mode of continuous improvement in alignment with our customers.
To do this, we work in close co-operation with other departments and are the integration partner for our front- and back office organization to provide business solutions for our customers.
For that we deliver software to the organization that integrates different platforms in a complex network of internal and external parties in an international environment. In addition we provide relevant business information through our data warehouse environment for internal as well as external use.
Our team consists of 35 members and operate within the bigger IT Development department.
How will you contribute?
Within the team you’ll contribute to the Equens success by developing solutions in our Business Intelligence environment. This consist of data transformation and creating internal and external (managed) reports.
Analyse, review business and user requirements
Data analyses/profiling on source systems
Perform software impact analysis
Design of logical and technical data model
Development of software
Create and maintain system documentation
3th line support for operations
Pro-actively contributes to the team strategy
What do you have to offer?
Extensive experience with information analysis, design and data modeling
Extensive experience with dimensional Modelling (Kimball) and Star Scheme database design
Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (preferably Business Information Management)
Experience in Business Intelligence
Experience with ETL tooling (PowerCenter version 9.x is a pré)
Experience with Oracle RDBMS
A good communicator also in English
Experience in complex high volume environments
Goal and result oriented way of working
Takes initiative and feels responsible for the result
Is able to work independent and in teams
Work accurately and pays attention to reliability and quality
