Procurement is at the heart of our client's strategy, focusing on a total external spend (purchased value) of ca. 6.5 billion Euro, covering both direct and indirect spend.
Within Procurement, the Global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for ensuring that all procurement teams in the entities operate according to well defined and harmonized processes, procedures, tools and systems.
As such, the Center of Excellence leads the Procurement Business Intelligence (BI) capacity, to ensure a consistent way of reporting procurement performance as well as providing data to the supply markets for their daily operations. The Global Procurement Analyst position within the CoE/BI team supports the Global Supply Market teams by:
supporting the execution of Spend & Demand Analysis and Supply Market Analysis for all categories
supporting the execution of Tendering & Supplier Selection and Contract & Supplier Relationship Management activities for the global spend.
The Analyst works closely with the procurement teams across Europe as well as with business functions within the group.
•Execution of Spend & Demand Analysis and Supply Market Analysis activities
•Support the execution of Tendering & Supplier Selection and Contract & Supplier Relationship Management activities
•Provide input to BI Analyst for reporting and Results Planning & Recognition
•Execute on ad hoc operational requests for the Supply Market
· Academic background (Bachelor): preferably in business administration or finance / procurement – Strong Analytical Profile
· > 2 years of experience as an analyst (including advanced Excel experience)
· Preferably experience in an international / multi-country environment
•Fluency (oral & written) in English. Other languages from the LG footprint are a plus.
