Job Description : Procurement Category Program Manager
Our customer is introducing a new Procurement Policy. Part of the policy is the introduction of Category Management. A framework and methodology has been developed and the major part of the Procurement community has received a training.
We are now looking for a consultant that will help implementing the pilots: 4 categories have been prioritized, additional categories will follow.
coaching our buyers in developing the category plan for their domain
challenging but also motivating buyers
follow up planning and timing
organizing a review board
improving the methodology
is of a very senior level
has an broad experience in category management: both in rolling out a methodology as in developing and implementing category plans
is very pragmatic
is diplomatic but at the same time directive
can motivate people to reach to a higher level
must have excellent communications skills towards different roles and levels in the organization
languages: Dutch, French, English
The consultant will report to the manager of the Procurement Centre of Excellence department and work closely with senior Procurement Management
