This division addresses opportunities arising from rapid changes in the healthcare industry and the increasing importance of technologies such as mobile devices, the Cloud, social media, big data and the Internet of Things. A new Digital Platform will be the foundation for all Business in Healthcare Informatics, Solutions & Services BG.

The digital platform represents a new era in connected care for both patients and providers, as healthcare continues to move outside the hospital walls, and into our homes and everyday lives. HealthSuite, supported by, is an open, cloud-based platform, which collects, compiles and analyses clinical and other data from multiple devices and sources. Health systems, care providers and individuals can access data on personal health, specific patient conditions and entire populations so care can be more personalized and people more empowered in their own health, wellbeing and lifestyle. Connecting solutions from the hospital to the home, we can enable a path to healthier living and wellbeing, throughout the health continuum.

The role
The project leader is responsible for executing projects to onboard our customers on to the platform. In this way acting on behalf of our customers within the platform. Delivering on agreements, coordinating between various product groups in HSDP, but also managing teams creating bespoke customers solutions on top of the HSDP platform. This includes coordination with customers, HSDP product management, development, project management, clinical resources, service management, product support teams and supporting functions such as contracts/legal, finance and quality and regulatory. The Project leader is the main contact during execution of the project in close cooperation with the HSDP account manager. The Project leader manages the project through all phases into operations and ensures that exit criteria and proper sign-off has been reached for each product life cycle phase. The Project leader Typical projects in HSDP range from device on-boarding, custom application hosting solutions, to solutions as part of a larger program. But the common factor in all of these projects is the use of HSDP.

Key areas of responsibility

  • E2E project responsibility for agreements laid down in the LPC (Lean Project Charter)

  • Working with all contributors to converge into a custom deliverable using HSDP platform functionalities, hosting, device connectivity and bespoke application development.

  • Working with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), operations PM and other PM’s in the Scaled Agile Framework, understanding all dependencies and making sure that all release activities are accounted for in the release plan and committed by responsible organizations.

  • Coordinate activities across teams and drive projects to successful completion on time and budget and of high quality

  • Create an overall project plan (LPC) that is aligned with the customer and internally in HSDP

  • Create a cost overview for all project and recurring costs

  • Manage expectations and relation internally and externally HSDP

  • Manage deliverables and results

  • Report status to account manager and necessary project stakeholders

Hard skills / experience

  • Project management skills

  • 6+ years of experience in IT and project management

  • Experience product development processes

  • Experience with software development processes

  • Experience with an Agile way of working

  • Knowledge of, or familiar with the Scaled Agile Framework

  • Experience executing projects under QMS

  • Experience executing programs using multiple vendors and working across different world-wide locations is strongly desired

  • Champion for the application of best practices and process innovation that meets business and customer goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with international and domestic quality and regulatory requirements for medical devices

  • Combination of well-rounded technical knowledge and the ability to facilitate and coordinate a diverse group of teams across multiple business units, including product management, development, test, project management, clinical resources, implementation/services, product support teams, as well as business functions such as contracts/legal, finance, and quality and regulatory

Soft skills
