Your mission is to develop high end reliable software facilities to unable the functional teams to create Software in an efficient way.
Working within the Extreme Ultra Violet (EUV) Source team of Software facilities, you will be working on providing and improving the software platform of libraries and frameworks that are used throughout the EUV Source software. It is our mission to provide and deploy industrial strength software facilities that form the software backbone of a mature Source product line. These facilities include support for e.g. data management, interface construction, system diagnose, product variability management, system control, etc. As a Source Software facilities Engineer you will work in a team reporting to your team lead. This team uses Scrum/Kanban during development. You will have close collaboration with your architect and peers. To come to the right solutions, you are also required to discuss requirements with our stakeholders. For this you need to be pro-active and be able to find your way in the organization. Next to creating new functionality, a large part of our work consists of updating and troubleshooting existing (legacy) Software. We are proud of our team. Main responsibilities - Develop and maintain C/C++/Python - Perform Software Impact Analysis for proposed changes - Write / update required documentation (design, test, …) - Implement and test accepted changes
BSc or MSc in computer science or equivalent experience.
3+ years in development of technical software. • Experience with C, C++¸Python, (Object Oriented development)
Good communicative skills • Team player • Eager to learn • Analytical • Good knowledge of English
Context of the position
Within the company the next generation of lithography machines is being developed in the EUV (Extreme Ultra Violet) program. In the program a new light source (Source) is introduced which creates EUV. The SW facilities team is responsible for providing the general facilities that help the functional teams to create reliable SW in an efficient way.
