Background Info
PGGM is the pension administrator working for various pension funds. They have an ambition to support more new customers in the implementation of the pension process. At this time, all processes and systems are being adapted to serve a large new customer per September 1, 2015. The P & I (processes and ICT) Pensioenbeheer are several development teams concurrently working on adapting the software, ranging from the basic administration and the pension to the websites, the workflows and communications.

Your Department
The department “Processes and ICT (P & I)” is part of the unit Pensioenbeheer. This unit has over 300 employees and is responsible for the implementation of group pensions and supplementary products. P & I is composed of the Business Consultancy teams, Processes & Systems Development and Functional Management. Together, these teams are responsible for conceiving, implementing and managing IT and process solutions.

The function
The realization teams responsible for the development and management (3rd line) of the Assign Entitlement Retirement application (TAP) and unit administration are seeking reinforcements. For example PGGM itself developed TAP to manage the pension entitlement and the pension entitlement of a participant. Because PGGM uses the scrum methodology, experience with scrum is required. This could mean that in addition to your primary role as engineer you also can play secondary roles, depending on the priorities and needs in the scrum team. You have to think about the role of tester and designer.
You will work to further develop and maintain these complex applications. You are not only engaged in construction and maintenance, but also think actively about the technical feasibility and implementation of solutions. Training / Certification / experience

  • Relevant bachelor degree (eg Computer Science) with 6-8 years relevant work experience or a relevant completed a university degree (eg Computer Science) with 2-4 years of relevant work experience;

  • Knowledge of .NET4.5, C #, EF (Entity Framework), WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and Linq;

  • Knowledge of MSSQL Server 2008R2 and / or 2012;

  • Knowledge / experience with VSTS 2012 / VSTS 2013 and Team Foundation Server;

  • Knowledge / experience in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) is an advantage;

  • Certified for MCSD (or similar);

  • Knowledge / experience with back-end applications;

  • General knowledge of and experience with Agile (SCRUM) works;

  • Knowledge / Experience with Test Driven Development and Continuous delivery is a plus;

  • Knowledge / experience with pension systems is an advantage.
