Primavera is our mandated standard tool for Integrated Project Planning. It is also the chosen tool for Integrated Activity Planning (IAP)and the building of Turnaround Schedules. The TaCIT Primavera IT Delivery Programme will deliver multiple projects which together are part of a wider strategic decision to consolidate the technical delivery of the Primavera application and infrastructure components into a single managed effort, spanning multiple different technology and business upgrade projects. The programme spans the entire RDS install base -P&T, Downstream, Upstream and satellite locations (Brunei, Nigeria, Qatar). Separate but interconnected projects are underway to deliver the upgrades and we require a Test Lead working for the respective Project Managers to devise the test objectives, strategies and plans for each project in collaboration with identified stakeholders and to take overall responsibility for planning, monitoring, and controlling the testing activities and tasks. At present we have four projects in flight that require Test Lead involvement: 1) Downstream Manufacturing (DS MFG) Primavera Upgrade - Downstream currently uses Primavera for planning & scheduling in three business process areas; ME (Maintenance Execution), TA (Turnarounds), & CP (Capital Projects) with deployments in 19 refineries and Chemical plants. Upgrade from current regional and local setup on Primavera 6.2.1 (P6R6.2.1) to global setup on Primavera 15.2.1 (P6R15.2.1). 2) DS MFG Key site remediation - Remediation of issues with Primavera performance within 3 key DS sites - Scotford and potentially Martinez and Puget Sound – with the aim of achieving acceptance for their migration to the global environment being implemented under Project 1 above. 3) GPT Primavera Upgrade - Upgrade of the Upstream Global Planning Toolkit (GPT) from Primavera 8.2.1 (P6R8.2.1) to Primavera 15.2.1 (P6R15.2.1) along with its connected application portfolio. 4) P6 Analytics upgrade - upgrade P6 Analytics from current version v3.1 to v15.2 so that the working environment is aligned with Upstream Primavera upgrade. P6 Analytics is a packaged business intelligence solution that provides insights into Primavera Enterprise Project Portfolio Management project portfolio performance. The above is the initial scope for the test lead with priority placed on projects 1 and 2. The number of projects may grow. Any potential change in scope would be discussed and agreed with the Test Lead and relevant contractor company at the appropriate time.

Technical Skills and Experience 5-10 years testing experience with at least 3 years Test lead experience
The Test Lead will lead all testing activity for the project reporting to the respective Project Manager for each project; Assist in building up acceptance criteria, test strategy, test scripts, coordinating test sessions with both IT and business stakeholders. Produce agreed test deliverables for the project and collate business and IT testing responses for producing summarized results reports.
Devise in collaboration with identified stakeholders, the test objectives, strategies and plans.
Overall responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the testing activities and tasks.
Estimate testing to be carried out and agree with the PM the necessary resources.
Assess whether test automation is appropriate and, if it is, plan the effort, select the tools (with Sofwtare Functional Excellence and Architecture engagement), and ensure training of any testers.
Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.
Depending on the identified scope of testing the test lead may be required to carry out testing or parts of testing themselves
Establish test baselines and ensure proper configuration management of the testware produced and traceability of the tests to the test baseline.
Ensure, with assistance from the Technical lead and PM, that the test environment is put into place before test execution and managed during test execution.
Schedule the tests for execution and monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
During test execution write summary reports on test status and present those to management as defined and agreed with the PM.
Soft Skills and Experience Able to deal with varies stakeholders including senior IT and Business managers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proactive, self starter - able to work with minimal supervision while taking responsibility for own delivery.
