The IT lead Service delivery management will supervise and manage a subset of services - provided by external and internal partners - against service levels, notify deviations and take action to correct. Accountable for the EMEA development of custom components for the EMEA platforms: .NET,, Oracle, etc… Accountable for L3 support for all the applications based on the EMEA platforms.


This is an EMEA based position, driving and performing the following activities

  • Supervise the development of custom components in the EMEA platform. Engage with internal partners and 3rd Parties to ensure on quality and on time delivery of those components.

  • Ensure quality delivery aligned with EMEA platform configuration guidelines and standards. Review and retain knowledge of the different solution components developed to provide L3 support.

  • Independently monitor service levels and reports on them and resolve issues or escalate problems to the appropriate resource.

  • For developments that needs to happen under CoE control: ensure that processes and guidelines are followed. Ensure compliance to Software Development LifeCylce (SDLC) methodology and that documentation and test evidence is delivered.

  • Work with architects to ensure that unintended interferences are minimized and platforms integrity is safeguarded.

  • Ensure that unit testing evidence of the different components is delivered.

  • Effectively work with virtual, global teams and service providers, including diverse groups of people with varied backgrounds and cultural experiences.

  • Manage service providers in a way to evolve from staff augmentation to a model of managed services.

  • Engage in transparent and constructive conversations with other teams in order to get the right service delivered and to get it delivered right.

  • Ensure high quality service levels. Deal with issues with the right sense of urgency and address root causes, not just symptoms.

Technical skills

  • Masters or Bachelor degree in a science, engineering, technology or economics.

  • 5 years of experience, preferably in a Pharma commercial context. Good knowledge of most commercialization processes in a Pharma Sales & Marketing organization. Understanding of the business criticalities and its environment (e.g. compliance and regulatory environment).

  • 5 years of experience in IT with the management of IT platforms in a highly regulated environment.

  • Extensive experience with operational management of application and service management process, preferable with outsourced resources.

  • Proper understanding of the technologies used in the provided services

  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS delivery models, preferably with following providers/platforms:, .NET as application development platform

  • Familiar with SDLC deliverables (Compliance Analysis, Test Strategy, User Requirements and Functional Specifications, Designs, Test Scripts,…)

  • Customer orientation and Partnership orientation.

  • Project management skills in order to plan work and track progress.

  • Fluent English, written and oral.

  • Sense of urgency.

  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
