Building Block Architect for the Commercial banking Customer Domain including the bank wide context for this domain. This Customer domain drives the standardization of policies, processes and tools to integrate the client lifecycle in the business. It provides solutions for compliance driven aspects like Customer due diligence, name screening etc. It also provides solutions for customer information like GRID and the dashboard to show a customer 360 view. The building block architect will be required to drive standardization and rationalization of systems, define system boundaries advice and set Target standards. Given the federated model it also requires alignment and coordination with domestic locations on integration aspects.
You will become the subject matter expert and will be responsible from an architectural point of view for the complete lifecycle of the building block. You will be working closely together with the Chief Architect and the enterprise architect in defining the building block and its roadmap.
develops and maintains the building block reference architecture and the roadmap that drives its change portfolio
has complete knowledge of the building block from the business functionality, the application(s) itself and the underlying infra components
Coaches the solution architects in delivering the architecture deliverables for his building block both waterfall and agile (SCRUM) methodology.
Aligns his building block with the TDA and other building block architects
is a trusted advisor on L2 and L3 level for both business and IT
validates Solution Outlines / Architectures that impacts his building block
You will be working within the department Enterprise Architecture and reporting to the Team Manager of CBS/EA/Team 2. The team consists of 6 building block architects and 3 solution architects. The team has the architectural responsibility for EA/CBS/Customer Domain, Lending, Trade Finance, WCS&F, Lease, Financial Markets and International Network.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with at least 4 years’ experience as an architect. You can show a proven track record in managing architectural change. You have a proven track record in the ICT, the infrastructure and architecture. Act as a trusted advisor on L2 / L3 level. You have knowledge and experience with new technologies and innovative developments in your area of expertise. Knowledge of banking products and processes supported by your building block is a must.
You align your building block vision with the long term IT vision and the business strategy. You like complex analysis and you can identify the different forces within the organisation and make use of it. You are a team player and can motivate others.
