For a long term project, we have 7 temporary contract positions for product owners / business analysts, who have experience with digital services. The project is at a Telco company in Amsterdam area.

Position description and purpose
The department develops products and services for the online, call center and retail environments in the European markets. This pan European digital platform gives customers, employees and partners the ability to sell our services (television, broadband, telephony and mobile), manage their subscriptions and engage with our content. These digital products, such as the commerce platforms and the care portals, are made available to the customers on all of the touch points, including the country websites, mobile apps, retails stores. The purpose of the department is to optimize the costs to serve and maximize the revenues in the most efficient way. This is achieved through continual innovation of the products, understanding our customers’ needs and fulfilling these in a tailored and timely manner throughout the life of a customer.

A digital transformation in the countries, with online at the center, of their sales and care operations.
Creating customer preference for the lower cost touch point such as self-service on our country website or a mobile app (tablet, phone, television).
Making the digital services very easy and intuitive to use.
Ensuring that customers have access to our digital services anywhere.
Providing financial and social incentives for customers when they utilize our preferred channels.
Keeping our products up to date and easy to operate.

The expectation of the Product Manager is to bring Marketing and IT together and speed up the delivery of relevant, engaging Online and Mobile experiences by ensuring the delivery of the tools for the online and cross-channel products to improve prospect conversions, sales volumes, revenues, customer lifetime value, product usage and ex-customer winbacks.

Main responsibilities
Work to integrate and connect online marketing, sales and care with ‘in-product’ experiences to deliver a consistent multi-screen experience for maximum customer benefit.
Own the group level Care products and extend the Pan-European Care capabilities to cover all major markets.
Manage the investment and business cases for the necessary supporting tools.
Define the product vision, requirements and GTM strategy for the extension and enhancement of the online tools.
Monitor the uptime SLA and site performance of all country websites and critical customer journeys. Administrate the monitoring tool.
Work closely together with the other Product Managers Digital Products and from other departments to define and ensure the best Customer Experience on the websites.
Bring more Customer Engagement into the online experiences thought the use of entertainment and social media content.
Work with the delivery, project and GTM organizations to bring the products to market and increase product usage.
Research, prototype and validate product innovations in the markets.
Ensure the proper implementation of group level analytics and insights data capture.
Enable and support local, native development on the multi-tenant online environments.
Manage the integration and technical optimization of the target and personalization solutions
Absorb local best practices into Pan-European solutions and share through presentation or development.

Digital / technology expertise.
Intuitively understands the technology driven changing retail landscape.
Deep understanding of the cable/telcom industry business model is preferred
Reputation for business transformation and innovation.
Proven skills in developing and leading a high performance online tooling.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical delivery in a matrix based global environment.
Track record of managing successful program / technology launches across multiple markets.
5+ yrs experience in online.
Highly pragmatic self-starter with impressive delivery performance record.
Senior experience in Product Ownership in agile environment.

Additional requirements and information
Travel required to affiliate countries within the EU. The amount of travelling will depend on the project
