The Issuing, Switch and Authorization team of the Center IT Development is responsible for the efficient and effective elicitation of requirements, creation of solutions (applications and processes) and determination of impact, based on the defined architecture solutions and requirements baseline. This supports further improvements, leading to development, testing, maintenance and optimization of the assigned services in the area of Issuing, Switch and Authorization for all current and new clients.
What will your job be?
You investigate and analyze the wishes of clients and translate these to changes for software applications and processes in the Clients’ organization, using the guidelines of the (solution) architects, resulting in an optimal solution, given the scope of request.
You will elicitate requirements, based on input of internal and external clients/stakeholders, in a structured manner (adhering to the requirements process). You have a leading role (accountable) in the requirements elicitation. For large projects, you need to be able to coordinate several requirements engineers for the requirements elicitation.
Based upon the requirements, you design a solution and determine the impact, in close alignment with the Solution Architects and Information Analysts/Engineers from other teams. Depending on the request, the solution varies between very high level and the most detailed level.
The impact of the solution also includes budget estimations which you gather from all stakeholders involved, including external suppliers. This requires a lot of teamwork and interaction with staff in other teams.
You have a lot of contact with (internal and external) clients, external suppliers and colleagues about the required functionalities and solution in a multinational context: there will be intensive collaboration with people in Utrecht and in other countries and external suppliers.
A strong affinity with complex environments is required and you are able to work result driven and service minded.
You pay attention to details without losing overview, you are punctual, quality oriented and able to work in a team (in and outside of the department / center) as well as autonomous.
You have good communication and listening skills and the ability to convince people.

Advise and support business development activities;
Advise and support other centers on their questions (related to issuing services);
Advice and support projects during their life cycle;
Co-responsible for the (establishing of) the requirements management process;
Elicitation (align, advise, analyze, assort, describe & review) of the all requirements following the agreed process;
Realization of (ad hoc) information analysis (from high to detailed level) and/or functional specifications;
Realization and maintenance of the functional documentation at the application level;
Co-responsible for the system documentation;
Support the realization of functional test plans;
Plan your own work and in some cases coordinate the work of other information analysts / engineers;
Quality control on products delivered by other team members (peer reviews)
Strong counterparty (for functional aspect) for Clients supplier.
What do you have to offer?
At least Higher Vocational level with a relevant background or relevant working experience in card payment issuing services (5 years or more);
Deep functional knowledge of internal debit and prepaid cards (5 years or more);
Experience in dealing with the various card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) (5 years or more);
Relevant experience on Requirements Engineering;
Extensive experience on Information Analysis and Functional Designs;
Experience with development methodologies like RUP and SCRUM;
Experience with working in a project management (Prince2) environment;
Pro-active attitude, able to align with all stakeholders and recipients of the deliverables and focused on delivering the agreed deliverables in time and quality;
You are fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written, working in an international team and environment;
Italian mother tongue or good level of Italian language, to interface the Italian clients, for collecting the needs and discussing the solutions;
You are willing to travel abroad regularly;
An IREB certificate is an advantage.
Further information and application
You will be based in Rome travelling frequently in Milan also for short period and your team manager is based in Milan.
