Job purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure continuity and offer high quality support to business learning requirements for at least 3 months and until a permanent candidate for the role has been recruited.
The role reports to the Director Learning & Development and works closely with the COE for Talent, People Business Partners and the wider business.
Key Accountabilities

  • Provide end to end Learning and Development solutions including TNA, design, development, delivery across the breadth of learning interventions.

  • Support the Director Learning & Development to develop and implement agreed strategy and framework for L&D across all key areas

  • Consult and advise on the learning interventions to be used, identifying tailor made solutions where appropriate.

  • Manage the roll out of local L&D interventions, partnering closely with the People Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence.

  • Partnering with key internal stakeholders from across Liberty Global and with internal HR colleagues and global counterparts to ensure smooth execution of these projects

  • Manage ad hoc L&D projects/ deliverables as needed, closely partnering with the People Business Partners as appropriate.

  • Continually seek improvements in external vendor management and supplier strategy to deliver business needs.

  • Facilitate internal learning events and workshops, delivering content as appropriate.

  • Ensure accurate administration and reporting of learning interventions

Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in HR, or related discipline and ideally CIPD qualified.

  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in Learning & Development experience in Learning and Leadership within an international and complex corporate environment

  • Proven ability to develop and implement pragmatic and innovative L&D solutions in a dynamic, commercial environment.

  • Resourceful “gets the job done” with minimal supervision/ direction.

  • An analytical problem-solver who has the capacity to process new/complex issues and develop effective solutions in a timely fashion.

  • Capable of supporting L&D interventions- driving capability and performance improvements within the business.

  • Strong project management skills- capable of working with multiple projects at the same time .

  • Excellent judgment and listening skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with diplomacy, discretion and integrity.

  • A developed emotional maturity, resilience and ability to work within a complex matrix organization.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, supported by the ability to liaise and influence effectively at all levels.

  • Pro-active trouble-shooter, who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues at all levels.
