Contributes to execution of sales -, expense - and profitability targets established by the SMU by managing all Financial Planning and Business Analysis activities within the SMU. Is responsible for
the Monthly IBP Integrated Reconciliation Process Step and the Management Information at SMU level and is first point in case of absence of the SMU Finance Director.
Prepares Financial Planning process for Segments/Regions/Countries and Functions, including guidelines, templates, communication plan, review meetings and alignment with Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP) Demand step, Commercial Excellence process (Margin Management & Pricing Cycles) and Business Review meetings.
Analyzes submissions of Regions/Countries/Segments and Functions including review meeting with IBP Demand Planning and prepares key topics for review meetings as input for SMU Management.
Participates in Financial Planning meetings with Regions/Countries/Segments Functions and SMU.
Acts as Integrated Reconciliation step leader within IBP Process and is responsible for alignment with Financial Planning.
Provides input for monthly management commentary and sales commentary including price /volume analysis, trend analysis, segment analysis.
Develops monthly Finance & Control report with key topics per Segment/ Region/Country and Functions and monthly Management Information Performance Dashboard.
Designs, implements and maintains harmonization of segment reporting and cost reporting in the SMU/Region.
Prepares financial analysis of proposed key commercial deals per Country/Region/Segment including review of deal calculators, scenario planning and proposed commercial terms per deal.
Initiates and performs post-deal review of actual performance versus approved deals.
Participates in Portfolio Management project teams related to Region/ Country/Segment and products on behalf of the SMU Finance department.
Provides analysis of proposed acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures including preparation of Acquisition Models and Divestment Models. Initiates and performs post-acquisition and divestment reviews.
Provides input for Commercial Excellence process (Margin Management & Pricing Cycles) in Regions/Countries/Segments.
Provides input for customer- and product Master Data audits.
Defines and develops Business Intelligence (BI) Strategy for the SMU.
Develops BI Management Information reports for the SMU.
Provides expertise on ERP System and Business Intelligence System in the role of Subject Matter Expert
Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.
