The finance department consist of three areas; Business Control and Pricing (BC&P), Capital Management and Policies (CMP) and Financial Information Management (FIM). FIM is the department which is responsible for all external (financial) reporting to stakeholders. This department is looking for a project lead Risk Agility FM. This role will be managed from the FIM BI team within FIM.
Project Risk Agility FM
The project is about the migration of existing Moses models running at a private cloud to Risk Agility FM running on Microsoft Azure platform. Main drives are:
Life Cycle Management of the product; Moses, a product of Wills Towers Watson, is end of life therefore we have to migrate to the succesor of this product Risk Agility FM Team.
Cost Reduction and Improved calculation power; We move from private cloud to Microsoft Azure to have a better price for the environment and more capabilities.
Improvement in code control; Within this project we like to start the use of Team Foundation Services (TFS)in Azure for code control and change management processes.
The steering committee will consist of one manager from BIS (the IT-unit) and two managers from Finance.
There are three main working streams in the project
Migration of the models from Moses to Risk Agility FM and start of using TFS for code control.
Contracting of Willis Towers Watson, Solvinity as service provider and Microsoft Azure.
Build environment for development, test and production in Azure and update current support processes like incident management, change management etc
The project lead needs to have proven knowledge of actuarial models or intensive knowledge of code development. In this role stakeholder management is key; actuarial people from finance, IT people and external parties needed to be aligned.
Proven experience on running projects as a project lead is a requirement.as well, where both Prince 2 and Scrum principles should be a known extensively.
Basic knowledge of SII rulings and principals is a must have
