The position will be leading in migrating the global, enterprise wide Telephony environment towards a next generation voice solution. The first task is to clean up the fixed telephony installed base in cooperation with the local site representatives. The aim is to reduce 40% of the fixed telephony installed base. After that, he will assist in migrating all telephony users from the legacy Telephony environment into the newly built solution. Project leader skills are preferred in this role. Telecom Specialist will be responsible for properly converting all required telephony features of end users towards this new solution, including the site specials. In addition, this role will serve as day-to-day trusted advisor for the mobile telephony services.


  • Global IT Infrastructure Project management experience

  • International experience is mandatory to be successful in this position

  • Knowledge of traditional Telephony environments and Telephony Special features

  • Proven track record in legacy Telephony migration projects

  • Project leader experience to guide Telephony site migrations

  • ITIL Service Management experience in Telephony environments

  • Experience with Skype for Business migration projects is preferred

  • Project Experience in global Multinational companies is a must, in semiconductor industry an asset.

  • Personal characteristics: Convincing, Can-Do attitude, Political and cultural sensitivity, Analytical, Team Player

  • Networking knowledge to be able to arrange technical prerequisites for voice on LAN and WAN networks

  • Great understanding of architecture and reference models such as TOGAF, SID, TAM, SOA.

  • ITIL knowledge, ITIL v3 certification is a plus

  • Prince2 or PMI certification a plus

  • Experience with outsourcing of IT services, RFP execution, vendor selection

  • Excellent technical documentation skills (such as designing roadmaps and developing low/high level architecture/designs)

  • Work experience from large, international companies and have dealt with or worked for global telecom service providers.

  • Persuasive mind-set and to make things happen (successfully finish projects and assignments)

  • Experienced in introducing new concepts of working

  • Continuous drive for improvement

  • Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment, work in cross-functional collaborative global teams.

Knowledge and experience

  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) in English as well as strong vendor and contract management skills

  • Excellent customer service mindset. Must be able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and sponsors on projects

  • Strong project management skills and able to apply both business and technical insights to the project assignment

  • Pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking capabilities

  • Able to work as a team or as a single contributor, and Able to work independently with building designers, engineers, and technology providers

  • Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people.
