Installation and maintenance of WAS for z/OS, and Unix System Services related Software.
Support of day-to-day performance & tuning (infrastructure).
Advise and assist in project related activities in areas described above.

Carry out 'Business As Usual' work like healthchecks, administrative tasks (documentation) and compliancy.
Generate ideas to improve procedures and work methods and put these ideas into practice.
Strong communication skills.
Languages English (word and writing) and preferably Dutch.

At least 5 years provable and recent experience on Mainframe as a Systems Programmer.
Knowledge of USS or UNIX/LINUX, SA/390, ISPF, TSO, REXX, JCL, Jython, RACF, SMS, TWS and Mainview
Provable in depth knowledge and hand-on experience with WAS (for z/OS), preferable version 8 or 8.5.
Knowledge and experience with the installation and maintenance of software from third party vendors (ACI)
Knowledge of either MQ, DB2, IMS and JAVA is a plus. Knowledge of scripting."
