Strongly serve the team including the Product Manager (PM)/Product Owner (PO) and Program Manager in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
Act as conduit between PM/PO & Release Train Engineer (RTE) to provide program increment progress.
Work with the Product Owner to ensure teams are working the proper priorities agreed upon in the RPE
Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
Guide the team to meet the DoD including documentation, regulatory requirements needed to
Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum
Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of
Remove impediments by finding the right personnel to resolve the impediment
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Represent teams in Scrum of Scrum meetings to represent team challenges, progress, and impediments
You will be working in the Data Analytics team which is responsible for extracting value from data. The team has a mix of Data Product Managers, Data Engineers, Analysts and Architects.
You will be reporting to the Head of Connected Digital Propositions and Platforms - Data Analytics.
We are looking for
Minimum 8 years of total experience of which candidate is a Scrum Master for at least 4 years for a software development team
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
Experience leading teams of developers, analysts, architects and engineers preferably in a matrix organization that is not always co-located
Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
Experience with TFS as the ALM tool for Scrum
Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: SAFe, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous
Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
