PolaHRis is the programme through which Workday, the new overarching IT system for HR, will be implemented. Within PolaHRis the HR Business Process Services (HRBPS) team is responsible for the support (maintenance and change) of the products and services that are delivered by the programme. As an Ops Engineer, you are the IT expert for the Interfaces of the new application Workday.
You are part of a growing group of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Ops Engineers and Dev engineers that is led by the Project lead HRBPS. Business Analysts, Ops Engineers and Dev Engineers work together in BusDevOps teams. BusDevOps teams use Agile/Scrum method and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. This is a new way of working for designing, configuring, and testing of applications and the process of deployment, maintenance and eventually decommission applications.
As an Ops Engineer Interfaces you are responsible for monitoring and management of all interfaces from and to Workday. You perform high level impact analysis as well as detailed impact analysis for all changes on the interfaces. You are skilled in all ITIL-processes in order to ensure business continuity. You are capable of configuring Interfaces. As an Ops Engineer you are part of the Workday team and therefore participate in all Agile/Scum events of the team.
• Operational support of all in- and outbound interfaces (Operational support of connections with Tier 2 and Tier 3 applications and SSO)
Processing and monitoring of in- and outbound interfaces
Scheduling and monitoring batchprocesses
> Incidentmanagement, problemmanagement, changemanagement, releasemanagement, Securitymanagement, capacity management
> Interface registration (i.e. HPSC, CDS, CMDB)
o Prepare, execute and evaluate functional, acceptance and integration test
o UAM has to comply with the Minimum Security guidelines (segregation of functions)
Determine segregation of duties.
Deploy, maintain and decommission
Act in project phase -
development of your Role to the end-state situation
Develop knowledge of HR Business Processes.
Develop knowledge of the way HR Processes and Products are processed from/to Workday from/to all relevant IT systems.
Learn how to configure Workday interfaces.
Complement the tasks and responsibilities of this Business Analyst role.
Secure the alignment with the tasks and responsibilities of the BusDevOps team and the line departments.
Secure knowledge transfer and interchangeability of knowledge within your Workday team and throughout the entire team of Ops Engineers.
