Job Description: Security Architect
Classification Senior Hours per Week 40
For the department ICT Technology within Development & Operations there is a need to extend the current global technical operations team with a Senior security architect.
This international technical operations team exists of 19 network and hosting engineers and is responsible for supplying stable, high available, state-of-the-art and sustainable network infrastructure services 24*7 at a global level (27 countries).
The team on close cooperation with Service Management, Vendor/Contract Management and Project Management has the challenge to market, upgrade, on-board and professionalize new and existing supported network infrastructures.
Define, build and maintain the, standards and solutions within the Connectivity responsibility domain and within cross responsibility domain in cooperation with colleague consultants, designers, architects, and service owners.
Play a key role in the definition and development of services and ICT Solutions (develop capacity and availability services in alignment with architectural and security principles).
Consultant in major projects to advice on Connectivity part of the solution and guard Connectivity guidelines and technical standards.
Sparring partner of technical engineers and suppliers on in depth Connectivity issues.
Keeps informed of new developments and trends in the Connectivity domain; makes recommendations to Operations management on desirable additions or replacements.
A higher professional degree in the field of Informatics / Telematics.
CCNP Security Certified; preferably CCIE Certified in the area of Security.
Minimum 5 years work experience with Cisco ASA-platform, including software based IPS and applicable management tooling, Signature-, Anomaly-, and Protocol Analysis Detection.
Preferable 5 years work experience with Cisco Catalyst 2960(S & X) series, 3750(X) Series, 4500E & 6500E Series; Cisco Wireless LAN Controller 5500 Series, 3500 & 3700 Series Access Points.
Minimum 5 years work experience with IP, TCP, UDP, Static Routing, TACACS, SSH, Access Lists, Security Contexts, Signature Files.
Preferable 5 years work experience with Ethernet (Wired & Wireless), Port Channels, VSS, VRF-lite, Network Access Control, RADIUS.
Minimum 5 years work experience in technical network analysis (incidents, problems, and changes).
Minimum 3 years work experience in security architect role.
Minimum 3 years work experience in an enterprise and/or international company.
Minimum 3years work experience with IT service development processes and outsourcing relationships.
Proven knowledge in the area(s) of developing network infrastructure services, including LAN, WAN, Security Services
Knowledge in the area(s) of Remote Access, VOIP and Collaboration services.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and internal IT delivery. Good understanding of specific business needs, operational requirements and general dependencies within ICT Infrastructure services.
Competences: quality driven, taking initiative, creative in finding solutions, excellent communication skills, organizational and structuring skills.
No 9 to 5 mentality.
Willingness to work outside normal business hours and standby duties.
Willingness to travel and interested in dealing with different cultures.
