As a part of the Philips Group, the Global Brand, Communications and Digital team is responsible for building, promoting and protecting the Philips brand. You will work in a dynamic, international and energetic team that is dedicated to transforming Philips into a world-class digital organization in close collaboration with our businesses and markets globally. Within the Global Digital team you will find the Digital Analytics team that is responsible to enable markets to work with data and information related to our digital performance and customer insights. The Digital Analytics team is focused on fact-based decision making and optimizing marketing and sales efforts. You will report to the Director of Digital Analytics. Day-to-day operations will be supervised by Senior Manager Digital Analytics. The position is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.


Usually the performance of a campaign is reported when the campaign is over, and learnings are being used for the next campaign. We are now assessing campaign performance throughout the campaign, and based on the findings, we are continuously optimizing the campaign to improve the performance. We are using campaign performance dashboards to assess the performance.
As Digital Campaign Data Validation Analyst you will be responsible for the data quality of the campaign performance dashboards. You’ll perform validation tests and quality checks on the data in terms of accuracy, completeness and format. You will be working with digital marketing teams of the markets and business groups, agencies, and business stakeholders. Your drive to ensure data quality will be crucial in enabling data driven decision making for the company.
The responsibilities include:- Work with agencies to ensure that the media data provided is accurate, complete and according the company’s requirements

  • Collaborate with the reporting services team to ensure that the data in the campaign performance dashboards is accurate and validated

  • Engage with local markets/ Business Groups/ agencies to ensure that the data provided in the dashboard is verified and in line with business requirements

  • Devise and perform tests to identify data discrepancies and root-cause analysis to solve issues

  • Support the reporting services team in automation of data and dashboard

  • Work with agencies and teams to identify and solve data issues

  • Support team in the collection of data requirements and the improvement of dashboard and processes

  • Support Sr. Digital Analytics Manager in collecting learnings & requirements of campaign optimization, so this can be deployed across the company



Philips is looking for a skilled digital professional with the following profile

 - A Bachelor’s degree; preferably with a quantitative orientation; Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics

  • 2 years of experience working as a data analyst; hands-on experience working with large data sets. Preferably, the candidate has working experience in Digital Marketing / digital campaigns and/or Analytics.

  • Possesses strong analytical skills and is highly accurate

  • Strong communication and planning skills, ability to independently engage with agencies/stakeholders to agree on timelines and deliverables

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills and extreme attention to detail.

  • Ability to articulate problem, requirements and benefits to business

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively

  • Basic knowledge of multi-channel marketing technologies, principles, processes, and best practices.

  • Experience with monitoring and optimizing digital, social and mobile data (web, e-commerce, e-trade) activities preferred.

  • Knowledge of the following systems preferred: Adobe Analytics Suite (SiteCatalyst/Omniture), DoubleClick DFA, Marin software, social listening platforms.
