The team has a strategic collaboration with the TU/e High Tech Systems Center and has strong application focus to address the human centric and high-tech mass-customization market needs. The Additive Manufacturing team at TNO-Eindhoven has an exciting opportunity for a program manager medical Additive Manufacturing (AM).
Op te leveren resultaat
The program manager is responsible for defining and executing a technology roadmap to further expand on the existing technology base through the generation of IP, the development of new Additive Manufacturing concepts and technologies, and the identification and development of medical market opportunities. The program manager AM will head a multi-disciplinary team of AM specialists and engineers, innovators and system architects and has a direct report to the department manager.
Tasks include the business development to set up new partnerships with companies, defining strategic technology development projects in the field of Additive Manufacturing, develop a network of research and industry partners, stimulate a creative working environment and further expand the IP position of TNO in the AM field.
This position requires a broad understanding of industrial research, technology development and the medical market. The ability to shape the strategic technology developments and involve multidisciplinary teams to achieve the anticipated achievements is a key accountability. Communication, collaborative and leadership skills are critical in this position. The candidate has a PhD degree in Physics, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering, and preferably relevant experience in additive manufacturing processes and technology development for medical applications.
