Our client is a large international FMCG company located in Kruiningen, The Netherlands. In case of a succesfull match we would like to tell you more about the company. 


As a temporary FP & FA manager you will mainly focus on: 

Strategy- Deliver analysis and insight to Corporate Controller and CFO on business enablers development in order to reach TPS 2.0 strategy.

  • Support implementation of the corporate and business controlling supporting the Corporate Controller in reducing transactional and inefficient reporting activities (project leadership role).

  • Play a key role in providing financial & controlling insight in projects, teams and ad-hoc requests.

  • Learn the key profitability and cash drivers in order to provide key reports and analysis to Corporate Controller and CFO.

Operational Excellence- Work closely with the controllers:

  • Key user in SAP and BO for Controlling.

  • Support a high level of financial forecast accuracy through consistent analysis across several functional area in cooperation with controllers

  • Analyse current and expected functional reporting in cooperation with controllers. Propose and supports improvement actions.

  • Drive structured reporting & financial modelling through efficient and effective use of the Business Objects reporting platform.

  • Support in M&A Projects and competitor analysis.

  • Support & drive ongoing & ad-hoc requests & projects within the business.

Annual planning & operational forecasting- Support the Corporate Controller in the planning, coordination and maintenance of the overall forecasting and AOP process.

  • Support in preparation of demand, supply (dashboards) and consensus meetings (dashboard and deck) Business Navigator processes.

  • Support Analysis of actual results vs. forecast through key business drivers and challenge accuracy of forecasts versus strategic targets/ budgets.

  • Support the Corporate Manufacturing Controller in preparing CAPEX reviews

Financial results- Analyse the company profit and loss and cash flow.

Stakeholder management- Maintain, further develop and anchor relationships with Controllers (Corporate and Plants) and Operational counterparts for IBM (Demand, Supply) and Cashflow (Raw, Inventory, CAPEX). 



  • Bachelor level in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or equivalent

  • At least 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in a Controlling or Planning and Analysis role

  • Financial understanding, strong numeric insight & analytical skills

  • Sound understand of key profitability levers and cash drivers and their relations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a basic knowledge of general business concepts

  • Experience in driving change management projects

  • High proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot Tables, SumIf, etc.) and Power Point

  • Experience with SAP Business Objects preferred

  • Fluency in in English both spoken & written

  • Secondary modern languages including Dutch are considered advantageous


Our client offers you a great oppertunity to work within a demanding international envoirement where you'll find lots of challenges.
The hourly rate is between €55 and €75, depending on your experience and education. 
The task will last approximately between 2 to 6 months.
