Context

The Business Intelligence team is a part of Data Department.
The mission of this team is among other things to develop and maintain the BI assets (DWH, Datamarts, Reporting, tools). Within BI team, BI Data Tooling platform manages the support and maintenance of BI Infrastructure and tooling.
Our client needs a BI System Engineer to enforce the support team. Function description

The mission has different aspects

• The SAS Administrator is able to manage the life cycle management and upgrade of existing SAS solutions

• Performance and support follow-up of SAS

• Advise and consultancy mission within Business teams

• Integrate development teams to help delivering SAS projects

• Mapping of business needs to SAS products (SAS Studio, SAS E/G, …)

• Good knowledge of SAS landscape and bundles to assess future roadmap

• Beside SAS, candidate might handle user-support activities around other BI technologies like

• Informatica Powercenter

• Advise on source of improvement of current deployment and infrastructure

• Develop monitoring tools to follow resources consumption of our BI assets running on AIX and linux.

Education Bachelor/Master in informatics – Engineer/Commercial engineer.
Languages requirement

• French Fluent or fluent in Dutch.

• Dutch Fluent or fluent in French.

• English Good.

Required knowledge / Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in Support of BI tools

• A professional experience of at least 5 years.

• Technical experience Mandatory

• SAS 9.4 support and administration, installation, configuration and patches application

• Security (LDAP) and networking (IDL, TCPIP)

• OS maintenance scripts and administration tools

• Team player

• Customer oriented

• Communicative (with team members and with other colleagues, our clients & other partners).

• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with a similar L2 support function

• Linux / AIX server administration knowledge

Preferable

• Informatica PowerCenter 9.6

• Ability to write SAS, Python, R programs and POWERCENTER mappings for testing and debugging

• SAS Lasr

• SAS Visual Analytics

• SAS VSD

Business experience
