Solution Design Consultant

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Solution Design Consultant.

Job responsibilities

You will be responsible for the overall design of BI technical solutions in a defined business or governance area and delivering technical solutions (projects and small changes) in both the software and hardware leveraged in a certain business domain. Focus is on delivering the most complex and large scope solutions within the BI domain, consultancy and functional design and process alignment. Contributes to Enterprise Architecture/Business with regard to strategic road map.

Requirements

• Experience with working in Agile teams

• Having an overview on a total solution, without knowing all the details

• Being able to dive into the technical details where / when needed

• Interaction between solution architect and Solution Design Consultants of other teams (like front end systems, Business Intelligence), where you need to have the total high level overview

• Interaction between business consultant / business and the technical team

• Being able to explain technical issues to the PM / program board and doing this pro-actively

Primary skills

• MS BI Stack and Business Vault knowledge
