OPS Engineer

I am urgently looking for a skilled OPS Engineer with Dev affinity for my client`s project in Amsterdam. This is a long term contract in the financial domain.

Must Haves

• OPS-engineer with DEV affinity

• Knowledge of operating systems AIX, Linux (Red Hat) and Windows

• Experience with scheduling tooling like Control-M, OPC and TWS (TWS will eventually be the standard)

• Experience with application deployments making use of tooling like Udeploy and/or XLdeploy

• Extensive experience in application support. Preferably within a complex environment

• Basic knowledge of scripting (Kornshell, Bash).

• Willing to work standby shifts and perform changes outside office hours

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of mainframe operating system (z/OS)

• Knowledge of MQ (basic)

• Knowledge of Websphere (basic)

• Knowledge of databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)

• Experience with cloud based environments

• Basic Knowledge of HTML, networking TCP/IP and universal command
