Test Analyst - Banking domain - Regulatory Reporting

Looking for a experienced, self-motivated and fast learning Software Engineer with excellent testing skills.

As Software Engineer ‘Testing’ you are responsible for all testing activities – from analysis to execution, from coordinating to environment management – related to the changing and running of the Regulatory Reporting solutions. Next to the change activities, you are integrally supporting applications based on your knowledge. Focussing on far reaching automation regarding testing, but also environment management, and you will help to improve the CI/CD way of working. You are proactively flagging improvement possibilities to the delivery pipeline and initiate together with the team the proper next steps.
You are capable of taking over the basic activities of other DevOps team members if necessary, like performing business analysis, developing code or support (standby) activities. An intrinsic drive to personal development in new specialties is key to success inside this team. Being flexible and taking ownership are basics to create the right mind-set necessary for this function.

The candidate will be responsible testing activities related to the Regulatory Reporting system and a system for Client Registration and On Boarding. The team consists of 24 people (Business Analysis, Software Engineering and Operations Support) which are split in two focus areas and multiple teams.

MUST: 5+ years of proven experience in testing;

MUST: Knowledge and experience of testing principles like Context-Driven and Exploratory Testing;

MUST: Skillset with ISTQB Advanced or TMAP Next Test Manager, but also Test Automation affinity;

MUST: Technology: SQL;

MUST: Fluent English; good communication in Dutch preferred as well;

MUST: Hands-on experience in test automation

PRE: several years of experience in working in an Agile/Scrum team and DevOps principles;

PRE: Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of Financial Markets products;

PRE: Knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and architecture;

PRE: Technology: MVC, MQ, NServiceBus, TFS, SpecFlow, FitNesse, XLDeploy/XLRelease, C#;

PRE: education HBO/WO (NL) or University degree (UK), preferably in Science or Engineering
