As a development engineer you get to work in a driven and enthusiastic development team with many opportunities to experiment with new technologies and the DevOps way of working. The Video Banking team is looking for an enthusiastic Development Engineer with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Our goal? Offer ABN AMRO clients a seamless and personal user experience through Video banking, a digital collaboration and communication platform that offers the best experience in personal, convenient, fast and secure contact.

The team enables a large business transformation which is of high importance to achieving the business ambition of the Retail bank. We offer you work in a fun and open team, personal development and freedom to come up with initiatives and great ideas.

You will translate business wishes to future proof IT solutions, by reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business systems, user needs and creating solution designs. In collaboration with business stakeholders you will document requirements, define scope, objectives and formulate system designs. You will be part of the scrum team Video banking and will be closely working with the Product Owner, our software developers and solution designer.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within IT, preferably Digital Channels

• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s level (or in the Netherlands HBO or WO level)

• Have strong communication skills (NL & ENG) to connect with both IT and Business stakeholders

• Have experience with the Agile way of working or Scrum, including tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

• Understand the voice of the customer

• Have the eagerness to learn new skills and technologies

• Experience with web technologies, and preferably video technology
