Frontend Developer

One of my leading clients is urgently looking for a Frontend Developer to work on 6 month contract from their beautiful offices in Utrecht.

The ideal Frontend Developer must have the following experience

• 5+ years’ experience building applications with common web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS3/SCSS/Sass, HTML5)

• Experience in Angular (2+) projects;

• Experience with testing (Jest/Jasmine/Protractor)

• Experience with REST APIs

• Framework-agnostic mindset

• Good communication skills and expectation management: there are many stakeholders

• Teamwork mentality

• Ability to provide and maintain solutions that support both legacy and modern systems

• Ability to work within a high-demand environment

• Fluency in English is a must

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Optional, but a plus skills

• Experience with server configuration (nginx)

• Experience with Ionic/Cordova

• Experience with cloud foundry

• Experience with building pipelines, deployments, and monitoring

• Experience with Linux

Other skills

• Working knowledge of source control software such as Git

• Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence)

• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

• Must be able to brainstorm and communicate ideas with your teams as well other stakeholders

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to learn new technologies and implement in short time

• Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team

• BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
