SECURITY OPERATIONS CONSULTANT(SOC)

A Security Operations Consultant is currently required for a position in Amsterdam. The client is a top tier consultancy giant with great culture and benefits.
You will be responsible for actively monitoring security threats and risks mainly in the Dutch unit. This includes timely review of alerts generated by security devices, assessment & categorisation of the incident and so on. In addition, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring the security infrastructure, adjusting back end technology etc.

A successful Security Operations Analyst should have the following skills & expertise

• A degree in Computer Science or similar

• A minimum of 2 years working in a SOC environment

• Strong working knowledge operating system platforms, routers, network protocols & security architecture.

• Experience in an Alert analysis environment is needed

• 3rd party MSSP experience is more desirable

• Experience in one of these areas; Network traffic analysis, digital forensics, threat hunting etc

• CISSP / C.E.H certifications or similar is more desirable
