We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for Grip project.

And good news, we are looking for a mobile test automation engineer. You work within a team and are also part of the QA chapter.

The vacancy is within the team working on Grip. Grip gives you a complete picture of your income and expenses. The app automatically groups your incomings and outgoings into categories. This way, you can see exactly what you are spending your money on and how much have left to spend. Handy, because you maybe discover what your biggest expenses are. Is it the drinks in the weekend? Or maybe your holidays or your gym membership?

You are

You are part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team. On a daily basis you work together, inside and outside your team, with mobile developers, designers and product owners. You are a confident problem solver, that wants to find every bug and solve it. You make sure that every user story has been tested thoroughly - by you and your teammates - before the end of a sprint. You are an experienced professional but also open minded in learning new technologies and learn from the best practices. With this mind-set and experience you automate testing and processes as much as possible. You like to be challenged and you pro-actively challenge others. Together with your teammates you grow.
As a person you are a strong communicator, and someone who can explain and transfer knowledge properly. You keep your head cool and keep the overview in stressful situations. Furthermore, you are someone how likes to try new things and gets involved in the matter. Feedback giving and getting comes naturally and speaking up is a second nature.

Our wishes

• 3+ year’s experience in mobile testing

• Familiar with at least 2 of the following tools: Jenkins, Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Postman, Charles.

• Experience with mobile test automation tools like Espresso an XCTest

• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) in both Dutch (native) and English

• 3+ years' experience in working Agile and/or Scrum

• Experience with mocking and stubbing backend calls

• Experience with at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Ruby etc.
