One of my globally leading clients has an exciting and long term project/contract for a Dutch speaking Data Scientist. This is for a major financial organisation, located in Utrecht. The focus of the project: In 2020 my client will be on the implementation of a new marketing platform in which the use of AI is essential.

The ideal Dutch Speaking Scientist will have the following responsibilities;
•Contribute to the successful roll-out of the marketing platform;
•Developing sufficient marketing models to support the approximately 250 NBAs in 2019;
•Continuously monitoring and optimizing the predictions;
•Advising on the correct model methodology and tooling for a future-proof platform;
•Identifying and initiating improvements in the field of data (data retrieval, data quality, variables, etc.).
•Advising and taking analysts and marketers into the operation and use of models.

The ideal Data Scientist must have the following Skills/Experience

•Are you result-oriented, analytically strong, self-starter, pragmatic and are you able to explain (complex) activities to marketeers, among others.
•In addition, it is important that you recognize everything on the checklist below:
•A relevant completed university education (Econometrics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or an equivalent quantitative study).
•Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience as a Data Scientist.
•Demonstrable experience working with large data sets.
•Demonstrable experience in building marketing models (propensity, click models etc.)
•Experience with statistical (regression, clustering and classification), descriptive and diagnostic methods and

knowledge of predictive analysis methods.
•Experience with Model techniques and their application within Marketing & Sales.
•Extensive experience with AWS, SageMaker, R, SQL, H2O (pre);
•Speaking Dutch is a requirement for being able to properly perform this function.
